Congregate Meals

Our congregate meal program provides nutritious, safe and appealing meals in a group setting for the purpose of promoting health, improving nutritional status, reducing social isolation and linking older adults to community services.

Meals are served Monday through Friday at 11:30 am at the following locations:

Council on Aging Senior Center, 200 South Spring Street, Bucyrus &

Historic Grace Church, 127 W. Walnut Street, Galion.

(The Council on Aging partners with Galion History Center providing us with a beautiful space at Historic Grace Church to provide congregate meals to seniors living in Galion).          

A choice of an entree and the sides that accompany it are offered Monday-Friday. Reservations can be made by calling the 419-562-3050 and must be made no later than 12 noon the business day before. All meals are catered, packaged, and delivered by our very own Council on Aging Nutrition staff.

Requested donation for a meal is $4.00 

Donations for meals are requested, however, no one will be refused services due to the inability to donate. All donations are voluntary and confidential.  All donations are used to expand goods and services for seniors residing in Crawford county. 

Services are contingent on funding availability.
