Private pay Home Delivered Meals (otherwise known as Meals on Wheels) are available for individuals who may not be eligible to receive meals under the requirements of the Older Americans Act. Home Delivered Meals can be a valuable asset for consumers and caregivers by helping to avoid unnecessary hospitalizations, reducing hospital readmissions and post-discharge needs through daily nutrition, socialization and safety checks.
