The Crawford County Council on Aging is a private non-profit organization established in 1974. Its mission is to enhance the quality of life and promote independence for older adults in Crawford County by providing in-home and community-based services which will allow them to live with dignity in the community.

Yes, Services are available to all Crawford County residents.

Yes, all services are directed towards the older adult, age 60 and older.

Is Transportation only for individuals age 60 and older?

Transportation services are provided for seniors (60 & older) and individuals with disabilities. 

Rides for general public provided if seating is available.

Does a request for services have to be made by physician?

No, a caregiver or an individual in need of services may call to request assistance.

What is the cost of services provided by the Council on Aging?

All services are based on a donation and no one is denied services because of the inability to pay.
