The Crawford County Council on Aging is a private non-profit organization established in 1974. Its mission is to enhance the quality of life and promote independence for older adults in Crawford County by providing in-home and community-based services which will allow them to live with dignity in the community.

The Crawford County Council on Aging along with Crawford County Partnership recieved the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging's 2017 Project Collaboration Award.  The Council on Aging along with the Crawford County Partnership worked together in May of 2017 when they provided the Senior Extravaganza/Spectacular in recognition of Older Americans Month.  Due to the wonderful turnout the event will now be held annually in May in celebration of Older Americans Month.
